Tinted glass is a functional glass that takes on a specific color by adding metal oxides to the glass substrate, altering its spectral transmission properties.
Features
◆ Spectral Regulation
Selectively absorbs specific wavelengths of light, glare reduction (visible light transmittance 15-70% adjustable);
◆ Thermal Insulation and Energy Saving
Absorbing infrared rays (solar heat gain coefficient SHGC=0.2-0.5) , reduces air conditioning energy consumption by 30% (vs. Clear glass);
◆ UV Blocking
Cuts off 290-380nm ultraviolet light (>99% blocking rate) , to protect indoor furniture from fading;
◆ Privacy
Reduced light transmittance (haze can be adjusted to 50%) , Replace curtains for bathroom and office partitions;
◆ Decorative
200 RAL/Pantone color scheme to enhance the expressiveness of building facade/interior design.
Applications
◆ Buildings and Curtain Walls
Energy-saving facade: bronze/grey glass reduces building cooling loads;
Daylight ceiling: brown laminated glass reduces glare and is used in airports, shopping malls;
Decorative partitions: Gradient stained glass creates an artistic space.
◆ Home and Appliances
Kitchen backplate: red/black lacquered glass (stain-resistant and easy to clean);
