      Heat-reflective coated glass, also known as solar control film glass, is a product formed by using a vacuum magnetron sputtering process to coat multiple layers of metal and metal compound films on the glass surface. It has the function of controlling the transmission of visible light and blocking solar radiation from entering the room, thereby reducing indoor air conditioning energy consumption. At the same time, it also has a gorgeous and colorful appearance, which can provide a variety of options for modern architectural design. Its main function is to reduce the shading coefficient of the glass and limit the direct transmission of solar radiation. The heat reflective film layer has no obvious reflection effect on far infrared rays, so it does not contribute significantly to improving the U value. In areas with strong sunlight in summer, the thermal insulation effect of heat-reflective glass is very obvious, which can effectively attenuate the solar heat radiation entering the room. But in an environment without sunlight, such as at night or in rainy weather, its thermal insulation effect is the same as that of white glass. From an energy saving point of view it is not suitable for cold areas because these areas require sunlight to enter the room for heating.
